This Silicone Rimmed Meat and Poultry Thermometer is a professional thermometer with sturdy stainless steel construction and a non-skid, non-roll red silicone covering that is easy to grip and can withstand heat up to 260°C.

Intended specifically for cooking meat and poultry, this thermometer has both Centigrade (48°C to 100°C) and Fahrenheit (120°F to 218°F) reading.

The thermometer lets you check the internal temperature of cooked poultry or meat by inserting the point of the thermometer into thickest part of meat or fowl. You then place the meat in oven or barbecue with the thermometer facing the door. You leave thermometer in meat while roasting. When pointer on the thermometer reaches desired temperature you remove meat from heat source.

This thermometer is suitable for use in barbeque grills as well as conventional ovens
