Model: HACCP 8838 All In One Infrared and Digital Probe Thermometer 

This infrared thermometer is designed to combine non-contact Infrared Thermometer and a penetration probe to enable both surface and internal temperatures measurement, which is very suitable for food industry application.
 
The timer and temperature zone indication make the meter particularly helpful in conducting a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) program for food safety.

You would use this unit to:

  1. Measuring food in serving and holding areas such as salad bars, fresh meat, warming ovens, open-top refrigeration and steam tables.
  2. Measuring food at the receiving dock
  3. Measuring liquid temperatures such as salad dressing, chilli, soup and milk.
  4. Measuring package products in cold storage container.

  • Has an Infrared and a Probe in the one unit and shows the temperature in increments of 0.1ºC
  • Inbuilt HACCP indicator that tells the operator if the food is within allowable Australian standards temperatures!   If the cool food is less than 5ºC then you get a GREEN light and if it is not then you get a RED light. Works for Hot food as well and if the food is over 60ºC then you get a GREEN light for the HOT storage temp
